The wine list at Hoppe’s reflects our convictions that proper pairing of wine and food is critical to a great dining experience. Each of the 200 wines is hand picked by Chef Hoppe, whose knowledge of and relationships with the local, central coast producers is second to none. The result is a unique list of wines offering an emphasis on the region, rounded by wines from greater California as well as imports from around the world.

The list changes regularly and includes not only an array of choices “by the glass” but a full compliment of half bottles, giving every guest an opportunity to pair just the right wine with their meal. Those guests with a taste for the rare and exotic will find their home in a section of the list labeled “Exceptional Rare Red Wines” and “Exceptional Rare White Wines”. On these pages the Chef shares wine from his personal cellar. Most of these are produced in such limited quantities and of such high quality that they are highly sought after and difficult to come by. It is on these pages that the relationships of Chef Hoppe has built over the years with vintners on the Central Coast and beyond, shine.
